Are You Thinking BIG – Or Just Not Thinking Of Much At All
Is your glass half-empty or half-full? How you answer this age-old question about positive thinking may reflect your outlook on life, your attitude toward yourself, whether you’re optimistic or pessimistic and even the success you are innately and “pre wired” to create for yourself. Everyone has it…only a few actually apply it on a daily basis.
Here’s a quick and simple test. Compare the different scenarios I’ve listed below and decide which one will benefit you, and get you to the place you really want to be…
When you make a mistake, do you magnify it into big issues, or do you ignore them as minor errors and consider them a consequence and part of living and learning?
When engaged in conversation, do you talk about the negative qualities of your friends, work and the economy, or… do you bring out the best in every situation and emit positive energy to those around you?
If faced with a lean budget in trying times, do you only find it necessary to save $$ by cutting down on expenses and eliminating certain amenities, or… do you find ways to “step outside the box” and create an additional stream of income and plan for your family’s future?
Do you view the future as very bleak and limited, or… do you see the future as an open door to personal growth, goal setting and unlimited possibilities?
Are you surrounded by negative, petty thinkers who are stunting you from growing, or… are you in the presence of folks who have large, progressive ideas and nurture your life with positive energy and encouragement to grow?
Do you daydream and allow yourself to live on “Someday Island,” or…do you constantly strive to set and achieve goals no matter what walls you may have to climb?
* Don’t sell yourself short. We have all been guilty of self-depreciation at one time or another in our lives. Dump the head trash and negative self chatter. Start using and discover the Power of Affirmations in your life, and see just how quickly your thought patterns begin to change on their own.
* Stretch your vision and allow yourself to see what can be, not just what is**
Fire “Mr. Defeat…and allow “Mr. Triumph” to work for you instead…
Surround yourself with positive, like minded folks who are obsessed with the ability to create the success they deserve and desire…
